Go Fund Me and Facebook allow for users to choose a “cause” to fundraise for their birthdays. Theo Burbank, on staff at Thom Anne Sullivan Center in Lowell, decided to ask for diapers and wipes for our families in need. It’s surprising how far this spread with social media reaching friends, church members, staff and former Anne Sullivan families. Theo raised over $500.00, more than double her efforts last year! When asked about the experience Theo said, “I am amazed at the generosity of our community, thank you all so much.”
