Thom Child and Family Services is honored to celebrate the upcoming retirement of Anne Marsh, Program Director of Thom Mystic Valley Early Intervention in Woburn, and to recognize her extraordinary contributions to both Thom and the broader Early Intervention community.
For twenty-seven years, Anne has dedicated her career to supporting young children and families across Massachusetts. Throughout her career, she has led and nurtured a robust workforce whose daily work shapes the experiences of thousands of families. Her leadership at Thom Mystic Valley Early Intervention has been defined by outstanding clinical expertise, steady guidance, and an unwavering commitment to high-quality, family-centered care. Thousands of families have benefited from her thoughtful approach and her deep belief in the strengths of caregivers and communities.
Anne’s influence extends far beyond the Thom Mystic Valley Early Intervention Program. As President of the Massachusetts Early Intervention Consortium (MEIC) from 2023 to 2025, she helped shape the direction of Early Intervention statewide. She brought creativity, strategic insight, and strong advocacy to this role. Her leadership played a central part in securing a historic rate increase for Early Intervention programs across the Commonwealth, strengthening services for families for years to come. While her presidential term has concluded, Anne continues to support the field as MEIC President Emeritus, ensuring her experience and vision remain a guiding force.
Anne also served on the Low Incidence Committee of the Massachusetts Interagency Coordinating Council (ICC), where she worked to support effective communication and collaboration between the Massachusetts Department of Public Health and Early Intervention providers. Through this role, she helped elevate provider perspectives and strengthen statewide coordination in support of children with low-incidence needs and their families.
Anne’s career reflects a deep and enduring devotion to Early Intervention. Her commitment to children, families, colleagues, and the Commonwealth has left a lasting mark on the systems that support early childhood development.
As Anne prepares for her well-deserved retirement, the entire Thom community extends heartfelt appreciation and warm congratulations. We are grateful for her leadership, partnership, and friendship, and we wish her all the best in the years ahead.
