Thom Child and Family Services is pleased to announce that Ms. Aisha Abdul-Wahab has been named as the Director of Human Resources and will begin in her role on February 19th. In her position, she will report to Thom’s Executive Director, Ms. Gretchen Rowe. Ms. Abdul-Wahab will be responsible for the oversight of all human resources functions and payroll administration.
Ms. Abdul- Wahab graduated from Lasell College in Newton, Massachusetts with a Master’s degree in Human Resources Management. Prior to accepting this position at Thom, she served as both a Human Resources Business Partner and Recruitment and Retention Specialist at Y.O.U. Inc. in Worcester, Massachusetts. In this position, she oversaw all human resources functions for 45 mental health and educational centers.
With an array of experience in talent acquisition strategy, recruitment and retention efforts, payroll administration, and the myriad of human resources operations, Ms. Abdul-Wahab will bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to Thom’s senior management Team. She is invested in nonprofit work to support young children and families. Ms. Abdul-Wahab’s enthusiasm, forward-thinking approach, and professionalism make her a welcome addition to Thom Child and Family Services. Ms. Abdul-Wahab’s office will be located in Thom’s administrative offices in Natick.
