Thom Worcester Area Hosts Rennie Center Fellows
On October 13, Thom Worcester Area Early Intervention welcomed a cohort of mid-career professionals from the Rennie Center for Education Research & Policy Fellowship. The Rennie Center is a Massachusetts nonprofit dedicated to improving education through research, policy, and collaboration. Its fellowship programs bring together emerging and established leaders to deepen their understanding of education policy and systems.
Thom’s Worcester Program Director, Migdalia Rivera-Flores, led a conversation about Early Intervention in Massachusetts, followed by a program tour and panel discussion highlighting Thom’s services, challenges, and community impact. Thank you to Jeannine Fruda, Jen Cogswell, Victoria Rogers, and Rebecca Feresten for sharing their expertise and representing Thom so thoughtfully.
The visit provided a valuable opportunity to increase awareness of Early Intervention and its important role in supporting young children and families among professionals engaged in shaping education policy and practice. The fellows expressed interest in reconnecting with Thom next year!
