We are thrilled to share that two of our dedicated team members, Dawn Gutro and Maura Buglione, were recently featured guests on the WMCT-TV Marlborough show, “Community Connections.”
Dawn and Maura, representing our Thom Marlboro Area Early Intervention program, sat down with host Ryan Malyar to discuss the essential, family-centered services we provide to families in Marlborough, Northborough, Southborough, Westborough, and Hudson.
They did a fantastic job explaining our mission: supporting children from birth to three years old who have developmental delays or disabilities.
Key Highlights from the Show
During the interview, Dawn and Maura shared our program’s core philosophy of coaching parents and caregivers, empowering them with the strategies and support they need right in their child’s “natural environment”—whether at home, at daycare, or in the community.
They also highlighted several key aspects of our Early Intervention program that are vital for our community to know:
-
No Cost to Families: All Early Intervention services are provided at no cost to families.
-
Anyone Can Refer: A doctor’s referral is not required. Any parent, grandparent, or caregiver with a concern about a child’s development can make a referral.
-
Community Programs: In addition to home visits, our Marlboro program offers engaging playgroups, music groups, and sensory groups for children and their families.
This appearance was a wonderful opportunity to spread the word and reassure families in the greater Marlborough area that our support is available and easy to access.
