Thom Child and Family Services is excited to begin the new year with two new members to Thom’s Board of Directors, Jo-Anne Gilbody and Audrey Gillis.
Jo-Anne Gilbody has extensive experience in financial management and learning development in the financial services and government sectors. She currently provides learning development and consulting to support national learning efforts at Deloitte. Jo-Anne has two young children, one of whom received early intervention services from a Thom program. Jo-Anne is the Vice President of the Special Education Parent Advisory Committee in Norfolk, MA and she is excited to further support services for young children through her position on Thom’s Board of Directors.
Audrey Gillis is the newest member to Thom’s Board of Directors. Audrey is the Development Director at the Institute for Nonprofit Practice in Needham. Audrey has experience teaching English as a Foreign Language (EFL) through her time at Rosie’s Place, a sanctuary for poor and homeless women, and at the Women’s Education Center. An interest in nonprofit leadership led her to explore a career in fundraising. She began as a major gifts officer at Italian Home for Children, and in 2015 she was hired as the first Development Director at the Institute for Nonprofit Practice (INP). Audrey is an INP alum, having graduated in 2016
