Thom Mystic Valley is proud to recognize Joanne Flanagan as she steps into her new role as Intake Coordinator.
Joanne enjoys supporting colleagues and has been an Associate Team Leader for some years, providing mentorship, support, and guidance to clinicians across disciplines. In her new role as Intake Coordinator, she also works more closely with families who have uncertainties about EI as they enter the program. Most recently, she has been the “point person” for our local migrant hotels. Joanne loves to use her extensive knowledge of children and family systems to identity strategies to engage families who may be less enthusiastic about being referred to EI to draw them into the fold of EI. She is a true Developmental Specialist, with her Master’s degree in Early Intervention from Wheelock, passionate about her work supporting families and children across all developmental domains.
