Thom Child and Family Services Makes a Splash at Springfield Community Baby Shower

Thom Child and Family Services had a strong presence at the 28th annual Springfield Community Baby Shower, held on May 18th at Commerce High School. This annual event connects new and expecting parents facing economic hardship with vital community resources.

Allyson Lopez, Program Director for Thom’s Springfield office, along with four of her staff members, actively engaged with families and community partners. They provided valuable information on early childhood development and early intervention services available to support these families.

The event offered a wealth of resources – over 38 vendors participated! Thom Child and Family Services Springfield Program further amplified its impact by giving away 25 car seats, a crucial safety item for new parents.
