Thom Child and Family Services Selected to Participate in Harvard Business School Association of Boston’s Community Action Partners Program

We are pleased to announce that Thom Child and Family Services has been selected from a competitive pool of over 25 applicants to receive a pro bono consulting engagement by Harvard Business School Association of Boston’s Community Action Partners (CAP).

Community Action Partners (CAP) is a volunteer organization of Harvard Business and Kennedy School alumni, helping Boston-area nonprofits apply management skills to their business challenges. Last year CAP volunteers provided an estimated 13,000+ hours of consulting, equivalent to approximately $3.4 million in pro bono services to worthy nonprofits. These volunteers offer a powerful blend of business expertise and passion for making a difference in the community. CAP projects result in incredible impact for nonprofit clients and are a uniquely rewarding volunteer experience for alumni.

Thom’s Executive Director, Gretchen Rowe, shared “We are grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with the CAP Team in the coming months. Together, we will focus on strategic planning to position the agency for continued success in the years ahead.”

“We are very excited to work with Thom Child and Family Services this year” states Executive Director Kathy Le. “Thom Early Intervention programs are doing critical work throughout the Commonwealth. The nature of their business challenge, mission, and social impact makes them a very attractive partner for our alumni volunteer teams.”
