Thom Child and Family Services Welcomes New Program Director at Thom Mystic Valley Early Intervention

Thom Child and Family Services is pleased to announce that Paula Cayon will be stepping into the role of Program Director for Thom Mystic Valley Early Intervention in Woburn, effective at the end of January 2026.  We are thrilled to welcome her to our Program Director Team.

Paula brings more than 15 years of experience in early intervention, special education, and leadership, including a long-standing commitment to the Thom Mystic Valley community.  She has served Thom Mystic Valley in a variety of clinical and leadership roles since 2009, most recently as Team Leader, SSP/ABA Coordinator, and Developmental Specialist.  In these roles, she has provided supervision and mentorship to multidisciplinary teams, supported clinicians in delivering high-quality, family-centered services, and partnered closely with leadership on program development and growth initiatives.

Throughout her career, Paula has been deeply committed to strengthening clinical practice, supporting professional development, and ensuring services align with Department of Public Health regulations and best practice standards.  Her background also includes experience as an assistant special education teacher, ESL educator, and program coordinator, bringing a broad and inclusive perspective to her leadership approach.

Paula holds a BA in Multidisciplinary Studies with a concentration in Elementary Education from Cambridge College and has pursued ongoing professional development to strengthen her leadership and practice in early intervention.  We are excited to see Paula step into this new leadership role and are confident that her experience, dedication, and collaborative approach will continue to strengthen Thom Mystic Valley Early Intervention and the families and staff it serves.

Please join us in congratulating Paula and welcoming her to the Program Director Team.
