Celebrating 25 Years of Dedication at Thom Marlboro Area Early Intervention

Twenty-five years ago, Deb Melewski made a career change that led her into a new chapter filled with purpose and impact.  After more than two decades as a writer and editor covering the software industry—including interviews with top executives such as Bill Gates—Deb felt something was missing and sought more meaningful work.

That search brought her to Thom Marlboro Area Early Intervention, where she began in office support and administration.  Today, she manages billing, oversees client insurance information, supervises a support staff of four, and provides key assistance to the program director and clinical team.  “I absolutely love my job,” Deb shares.  “I’m still so touched by the compassion and dedication of our clinical staff.”

Outside of work, Deb enjoys life on the lake with her husband, with whom she recently celebrated 50 years of marriage.  Gardening is another passion—her home is surrounded by flowers, herbs, and vegetables, and she tends to a wildflower garden as well.  She also dotes on her nine-year-old cat, Piper.

In addition to her role at Thom, Deb works part-time as a concierge at Artisan Senior Living in Hudson.  Drawn to the new facility when it was built five years ago, she once again felt called to serve.  “I am here to help,” she says.  “I feel happy and rewarded with the work-life balance that I am living.”

Congratulations to Deb Melewski on 25 years of service!  Her dedication, warmth, and commitment have made a lasting impact on Thom Marlboro Area Early Intervention, and we are grateful to have her as part of our team.
