Thom Biller Updates

Introduction:  We will use this page to post news and update information concerning the Thom Biller software. Use this page to stay up-to-date and to know when to look for a CD in the mail or to download an update. You can also retrieve update release notes in each section, and the current User's Guide at the bottom of the page. Current Upgrades

5/7/12- Upgrade 12.04b for All Thom Users

All Thom Biller users should download and install this upgrade.  It includes a fix for certain remit file issues, as well as preparation for autism services.

Here is the up1204b.exe upgrade. Right-click on the link and "Save As" to your desktop. Then run it using the password you will receive by email. The file is about 15MB in size, so it will take at least a few minutes to download on a fast internet connection. Some Internet providers cut off large downloads early, without warning, so make sure the file you receive is the full size. It is too large to download over a dial-up connection. If you have any trouble downloading the upgrade, please contact me and I will send you a CD -- Larry

3/5/12- Upgrade 12.03a for All Thom Biller Users

All Thom Biller users should download and install this upgrade. It supports Thom EVS eligibility checks using 5010 formats now needed by MassHealth.

Here is the up1203a.exe upgrade. Right-click on the link and "Save As" to your desktop. Then run it using the password you will receive by email. The file is about 15MB in size, so it will take at least a few minutes to download on a fast internet connection. Some Internet providers cut off large downloads early, without warning, so make sure the file you receive is the full size. It is too large to download over a dial-up connection. 2/16/12- Upgrade 12.02c for All Thom Biller Users

All Thom Biller users should download and install the 12.02c upgrade. It supports new DPH service modifiers for Assessment Home Visits and Transition Groups.

 All Thom Biller users should download and install the 12.01d upgrade. It includes a new DPH Annual Fee Receipt reporting routine and changes to the billing resubmission process.

Here is a link to the VFPSETUP.EXE  program for installing Visual FoxPro 9.  It is also included in your Thom Biller upgrades that begin with "7." and should be in your home directory, so it is unlikely that you would need to download it.

10/14/11 - Upgrade 11.10b

It supports 5010 billing, among other things.

6/22/11 - Upgrade 11.06a

It supports new DPH SDR requirements, among other things.

12/14/10 - Upgrade 10.12a

It supported new DPH addendum codes, among other things.

9/24/10 - Upgrade 10.09a

It has revised handling of resubmission bills among other changes.

7/27/10 - Upgrade 10.07b

It implements a variety of changes discussed in the documentation, including changes to the batch pay process preventing automatic transfer of copays and deductibles to DPH consistent with the new "First Dollar Coverage" policy.
